The Transformers: The IDW Collection
From Transformers Wiki
Beginning in 2010, IDW Publishing began a series of hardcovers titled The Transformers: The IDW Collection, which aimed to reprint their original IDW Transformers stories in a "suggested reading order" up through All Hail Megatron and beyond. This order included some... questionable placements for certain stories.
The first eight volumes, retroactively labelled "Phase One", cover the stories released up through the end of the 2009 ongoing series. "Phase Two" begins with "The Death of Optimus Prime" and carries over into the More than Meets the Eye and Robots in Disguise ongoings. The presented reading order of Phase Two is even more haphazard than that of Phase One, frequently hopping back and forth between the two parallel ongoings while also juggling the various otherwise-disconnected miniseries. Phase Two concludes with the wrap ups of the two main ongoings. Phase Three, debuting in 2021 is the final phase. It begins with Till All Are One and the Revolution event, as well as its various spinoffs.
For of the first eight volumes, E. J. Su provided brand new cover art of a specific character that plays a notable role in certain comic stories featured in each volume. The covers for Phase Two are provided by Saren Stone (first 2 volumes) and Marcelo Matere (with Tom B. Long on colors through volume 7). Phase Three features cover art by Sara Pitre-Durocher.
In 2016, a softcover Compendium edition containing the first two volumes hit the shelves. No further Compendiums have been produced.
Unfortunately, due to IDW Publishing’s losing of the Transformers license, publication ceased after Phase Three: Volume 3. Editor David Mariotte stated on his Twitter that around five more volumes would have been needed to finish out the series.[1]

The final hardcover volume of IDW2 is out in November. More TF collections, Best ofs, and issues to come!"—David Mariotte, Twitter, 2022/09/28
