     Donald Stuart Baynes was born on 17 September 1848.1 He was the son of Sir William John Walter Baynes, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Stuart.1 He married Annie Ravenshaw, daughter of Reverend Edward Ravenshaw, on 8 June 1881.1 He died on 5 January 1932 at age 83.1
     He was registered as a Civil Engineer.1

     Annie Ravenshaw was the daughter of Reverend Edward Ravenshaw.1 She married Donald Stuart Baynes, son of Sir William John Walter Baynes, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Stuart, on 8 June 1881.1 She died on 7 October 1933.1
     From 8 June 1881, her married name became Baynes.1
