     Francis Wheler was baptised on 8 July 1688 at St. Anne Soho, Westminster, London, England.² He was the son of Admiral Sir Francis Wheler and Arabella Clifton.³ He married Frances Clarkson on 3 October 1706 at St. Anne Soho, Westminster, London, England.²
     He lived at Whitley, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Hon. Francis Wheler Hood was born in 1781.² He was the son of Henry Hood, 2nd Viscount Hood of Whitley and Jane Wheler.³ He married Caroline Hamond, daughter of Sir Andrew Snape Hamond, 1st Bt. and Anne Graeme, on 11 October 1804.¹ He died on 2 March 1814 at Aire, France^G, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.⁴ He fought in the Napoleonic Wars.¹

     Samuel Hood-Tibbits, 3rd Viscount Hood of Whitley was born on 10 January 1808.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Francis Wheler Hood and Caroline Hamond.² He married Mary Isabella Tibbits, daughter of Richard John Tibbits, on 27 June 1837.¹ He died on 8 May 1846 at age 38.¹
     He was also known as Samuel Hood.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Hood of Catherington [I., 1782] on 15 January 1836.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Hood, of Catherington, co. Southampton [G.B., 1778] on 15 January 1836.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Hood of Catherington, co. Southampton [G.B., 1795] on 15 January 1836.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Hood of Whitley, co. Warwick [G.B., 1796] on 15 January 1836.¹ In 1841 his name was legally changed to Samuel Hood-Tibbits.¹

     Josephine Nicola Fell is the daughter of John Richmond Fell.¹ She married Vicary Tyser Gibbs, 6th Baron Aldenham, son of Anthony Durant Gibbs, 5th Baron Aldenham and Mary Elizabeth Tyser, on 16 May 1980.¹
     Her married name became Gibbs. After her marriage, Josephine Nicola Fell was styled as Baroness Aldenham on 25 January 1986.

     Lt. Hon. Henry Ralph Hardinge was born on 13 October 1895.¹ He was the son of Henry Charles Hardinge, 3rd Viscount Hardinge of Lahore and Kings Newton and Mary Frances Nevill.¹ He died on 9 May 1915 at age 19, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.¹

     Caryl Nicholas Charles Hardinge, 4th Viscount Hardinge of Lahore and Kings Newton was born on 25 December 1905.¹ He was the son of Henry Charles Hardinge, 3rd Viscount Hardinge of Lahore and Kings Newton and Mary Frances Nevill.¹ He married Margaret Elizabeth Arnott Fleming, daughter of Hugh Percy Fleming and Ethel Gormully, on 15 September 1928.¹ He died in 1979.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Hardinge of Lahore and Kings Newton, co. Derby [U.K., 1846] on 30 April 1924.² He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor-General of Canada between 1926 and 1928.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 7th Hussars.¹ He was Military Assistant to the AG to Forces between 1941 and 1945.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1946.¹
