     Eleanor Puleston was the daughter of Edward Puleston and Winifred Trevor.2 She married William Wheler, son of Henry Wheler and Agnes (?).1 She died on 1 June 1678.1
     Her married name became Wheler.

Sir Charles Wheler, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Charles Wheler, 2nd Bt. was born in 1620.1 He was the son of William Wheler and Eleanor Puleston.2 He married Dorothy Bindlosse, daughter of Sir Francis Bindlosse and Hon. Cecilia West, on 7 August 1648.1 He died on 26 August 1683.1
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 7th Regiment.1 He held the office of Gentleman of the Privy Chamber.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Wheler, of City of Westminster, co. London [E., 1660] on 6 August 1666.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cambridge University between 1667 and 1679.1 He held the office of Governor of the Leeward Islands.1 He lived at Birdingbury, Warwickshire, England.1

     Dorothy Bindlosse was the daughter of Sir Francis Bindlosse and Hon. Cecilia West.2 She married Sir Charles Wheler, 2nd Bt., son of William Wheler and Eleanor Puleston, on 7 August 1648.1 She died on 16 August 1684.1
     From 7 August 1648, her married name became Wheler.

     Major Trevor Wheler was the son of Sir Charles Wheler, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy Bindlosse.2 He died on 12 October 1678, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 7th Foot.1

Sir William Wheler, 3rd Bt.1

     Sir William Wheler, 3rd Bt. was born in 1654. He was the son of Sir Charles Wheler, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy Bindlosse.2 He married Teresa Widdrington, daughter of Hon. Edward Widdrington, on 15 January 1695/96.1 He died on 23 February 1708/9.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Wheler, of City of Westminster, co. London [E., 1660] on 26 August 1683.1

Admiral Sir Francis Wheler1

     Admiral Sir Francis Wheler was born circa 1656. He was the son of Sir Charles Wheler, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy Bindlosse.2 He married Arabella Clifton, daughter of Clifford Clifton and Frances Finch, on 12 November 1685.1 He died on 19 February 1694, drowned in the shipwreck of H.M.S. Sussex, near Gibraltar.1
     He fought in the Battle of Beachy Head in 1690.1 He held the office of Governor of Deal Castle.1 He fought in the Battle of Barfleur in 1692.
