User talk vandals

Brandon38Wynn45 adds random talk page meessages that were reverted to User talk:Johannnes89 and User talk:Iggy the Swan. They were reverted. Then this new user, Daisy65Burton13, went and reverted the reversion of the edits. Their usernames also very similar. --Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 11:54, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

TeraBox and Sloth Mafia accounts

The 1st user has a spam username block. The 1st to 3rd user is involved in TeraBox, and the 4th and 5th user is involved in the enwiki draft version (w:Draft:TeraBox (cloud storage)). The 5th user is the latest account and appeared after the block of the 1st user. Can so many accounts appear in one page during a short term?

Also the 5th user made Sloth Mafia, and please note that w:Sloth Mafia is made by a user (w:User_talk:Frket#Speedy_deletion_nomination_of_Sloth_Mafia)) who is believed to be related with w:Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/TheCaseOfGoliath that includes the following simplewiki registered users:

There are also locked accounts in the enwiki SPI, but they are not registered in simplewiki. However, this suggests the concern of possible lock evasion.

Please check new user Yourpritamgmailom with PritamMondal2022 who was blocked here in May 2024. This is a account that quickly edited an IP article creation here (Pagal Premi) which features Yash Daasguptaa which tends to be a focus for YP socks. On enwiki, Yourpritamgmailom created w:Pagol Premi that is this article. The user name is similar to previous socks w:Category:Suspected_Wikipedia_sockpuppets_of_Your_Pritam. If there is no CU evidence then I would like to allow further improvement in the userspace per WP:AGF, but I think there is a need to know their relations. I'm reporting 2 users involved in WP:NOT (w:WP:NOTWEBHOST) user page issues. Their user pages look like similar tone/script that would not be a draft for simplewiki articles, and please note that the 1st user made the user page of the 2nd user (special:redirect/logid/2782027). Pseudo-rollbackers and proxy revert requests around south Asian topics

I would like to report a new account (Alan Charlotte, AC) that has similarities with Hcsrctu (2nd user) and Hashid Khan (HK, 4th user). The 3rd account is already CU-blocked with the 2nd user, and their relations are explained in w:Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/HinduKshatrana.

The 1st similarity I noticed is the edit summary style. AC is using a rollback-like edit summary in their first move in Chandel (special:diff/9662551). The 2nd user has used rollback-like edit summaries many times (special:diff/9646542, special:diff/9641299, special:diff/9641294, etc.), and they also have interests in Chandel (special:diff/9540320, special:diff/9511013). Would different users start using similar edit summaries in similar topics in a short term?

The 2nd similarity that I found is proxy revert requests around south Asian topics. The 2nd user previously made proxy revert requests (special:diff/9511013) for Rajput, Rajputization, and Chandel. AC already made a new proxy revert request (special:diff/9672467) for Rajput toward the same editor. Would different users request revert for a same page toward a same editor in a short term?

In addition, special:diff/9672467 requests the restoration of special:permalink/9631362, when the change of Sarcastic kshatriya (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · SUL · CA · checkuser (log)) (SK, alternative account is $arcastic kshatriya (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · SUL · CA · checkuser (log))) has been reverted. This implies that AC is part of the content dispute between SK and other users/IPs partially including the 2nd user (Special:Diff/9631799, Special:Diff/9632800, special:diff/9545962, etc.), and I already blocked an IP range that repeated over-reverts, etc. [1] and the estimated master (4th user, special:redirect/logid/2765016) that usually fought against SK. Also, AC has used {{uw-vandalism2}} against another user that they confronted in a content dispute (User talk:103.46.201.196, special:redirect/logid/2777978). Labelling opponents in a content dispute as vandalism is a similar style already used by the 2nd user (special:diff/9541417, special:diff/9540312) and the IPs possibly connected to the 4th user (Special:Diff/9631799, Special:Diff/9632800). There is an IP overlap (both users using the same IP) of Gigi1233 and Jauwad2024, Bamalli01 and Hafsatu23; the other users use similar netwoks (1-2 of the 4 IP numbers different), but there's no direct relation. Tyla accounts

As seen in the page history, Tyla has been often targeted by block evasion VPNs, etc. for massive text addition. This is done by the Tyler Antonius accounts (see the article's deleted revisions for past accounts, Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2023/Tyler Antonius, Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2024/Tyler Antonius, Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2024/Tyler Antonius (2nd nomination)), and they are targeting articles with similar names. A new account has started massive text addition here as well as the previous accounts. Therefore, I request comparison with the recently blocked/locked previous accounts. Reliance GCS accounts again

This CU request originally came from Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2023/Reliance Global Corporate Security. As the result, Sentientgrineer (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · SUL · CA · checkuser (log)) and Armgodgun (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · SUL · CA · checkuser (log)) have a CU-block by user:Eptalon. However, w:Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Nittin_Das/Archive#29_April_2024 suggests their recent re-emergence. I have already blocked those that are already confirmed via the recent enwiki SPI. I also blocked an IP range (/64) that is involved in article recreation. Please check the latest account that I found in this month. As can be seen in the page histories, these articles have a long history of content addition and reverts. Recent editors include locked accounts, enwiki CU-confirmed accounts, enwiki range-blocked IPs, etc. Now we have another user (the 1st account) involved in drastic content addition and reverts as well as the previous history. I have more updates about the 1st user. They made Jaan Nisar (2024) (special:redirect/logid/2761385), entry with unusual and unneeded disambiguation as well as w:Jaan Nisar (2024). After I moved the page to clear the disambiguation (Jaan Nisar), I noticed that the 1st user and 3rd user has a made a copy of w:Draft:Jaan Nisar. When checking the deleted revisoins of Jaan Nisar, I also found that the same IP range is also involved here. Please also note that the author of w:Draft:Jaan Nisar is already blocked at enwiki due to the same SPI classification (w:Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Nauman335). To pile on to this, Zard Patton Ka Bunn was originally created on enwiki by a Nauman335 sock - [2]. Barzakh was copied from w:Draft:Barzakh_(TV_series) which was created by an IP in a range where Nauman has been known to be active, see [3] which was created by a Nauman sock then finished by an IP in this range, which is somewhat common from Naumann as socks get blocked. See w:Special:Contributions/223.123.0.0/19, looking at the activity of that range that hits Pakistani film/television, you nearly always find a Nauman sock in recent past and their recent edits are to link to the articles created here by socks. Vanderpumpstan (June 2024)

Cedricmartinez is a new account that's created several articles that are massively oversourced, all about people that are connected to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Many of the sources used are from Bravo TV, which is common for Vanderpumpstan articles, as is the extreme details and sources. Compare the article style to other articles in the last version from a previous Vanderpumpstan sock - [4], [5], [6]. New editors don't create massive articles like that, with the massive number of sources, for people that generally have marginal roles in the various shows. The user name, Cedricmartinez, is also the name of someone connected to The Real Housewives of BH, which Vanderpumpstan has done before (see 0ddotnek, which is Ken Todd backwards, husband to Lisa Vanderpump). From prior checks, CU may be a bit marginal but I feel the behavior is more than enough to block as a sock. I've added four of the most recent socks to the CU list for comparison. As concerned in Special:Diff/9575212, we have too many accounts involved in over-reverting at this article, and some accounts have very low edit counts. Can the appearance of so many new accounts concentrate in one article in a short term less than 3 months? SeatedSnow (SS) is the latest account among this request, and their edit summary of special:diff/9580657 is a copy of our admins (special:diff/9570001). There is a great number of IP addresses, Eceerp seems to be the main user (with most different IPs, and most edits). As far as I can see, there is one case where Srehcraeht and Eceerp share an IP address. Between the other users, there are no shared IPs as far as I can see. Srehcraeht is globally locked, so there's little to do here. This also means that from CU, I see no relationship of Dublevex, Yarverdna to the other two, or to each other. It is OK to consider as closed for now. For your information, I have found more variants like Special:Contributions/Gigi1233, Special:Contributions/Jauwad2024, Special:Contributions/Inda123, Special:Contributions/Gagare23, Special:Contributions/Pascal2525, and Special:Contributions/Garzali123 (Sorry I forgot to update the page). Since previous CU results were negative but the behavior-based evidence is strong enough (making same pages as same as previous accounts, QD G5 cases), I skipped the CU requests and directly reported to the stewards. CU wise, I get three IP addresses, for the two users (in a city of about 10 million people, in Asia). The IPs do ont overlap. It is possible that we are looking at the same user, who connects from a dektop computer, and perhaps using a monbile phone. When I look at the edits, I find that except for these pagers, the users have virtually no other edits on our wikipedia. Fro this reason, I didn't block the two editors (as CU). Since the page Parvej Husen Talukder has been repeatedly deleted (G5), I cannot see the creation logs. A user created Parvej Husen Talukder (poet) which was also deleted under G5. The account above was just created and their only edit was this Wikipedia:Deletion review#Parvej Husen Talukder (poet). Since CUs have access to the logs, they should be able to see the accounts and if any other user (perhaps @MathXplore) has the account names, they are free to add them. @Eptalon The 3 (including the 2nd IP and the two named accounts) are all CU blocked already. I wasn't sure what to do with it since they are all related based on changes. I know you cannot comment on the IP, but based on the matches with the other 3, I felt it better to post here rather than VIP since CUs have higher access. I also know they are both exiting through AU, which may also be a proxy (since they come through Cloudflare and on VPNs). To begin with [27] they have accepted that they lost their main account password etc. But if you check the recent SPI investigations in enwiki [28] CU there blocked and confirmed the master as postdamlamb and amazing they created their sock account here on Simplewiki which can be seen from their global account creation log[29]. Hello all, let me clarify two things: 'That fungi' last edited almost a year ago, so, likely, there is no CU data. So even with the best of intentions, I couldn't run a checkuser, and get useful information to compare with. Secondly, a few months back, PorsdamLamb appealed to his block. In the course of that appeal, the admins thoroughly evaluated the options. In the end, it was decided to re-admit PotsdamLamb to the project. My observation as a checkuser: There's no IP overlap in the named users, they all use different IPs. So, these are all real people expressing their opinions, in one way or another. These three accounts are currently active in the RFD. Wikicontributerr, RL Stunna, and 900R have absolutely 0 undeleted contributions outside the RFD. All three accounts have participated in similar RFDs, particularly regarding Zerry DL. Another commonality is their editing and creation of articles related to Nigeria, often being un-notable or promotional (900R's logs). I suspect these accounts are related.
